Remembering Dad...

This memorial day has new meaning, as it is the first memorial day since the passing of my Dad. It is still very raw, and I miss him dearly. I took time this weekend to sit at his grave site and reflect on his life and the importance he played in mine. My Dad drank up life and its many experiences -- you could always find him whistling, joking, smiling, exploring the outdoors, enjoying a good meal, and best of all relishing time with his family. My Dad was a great example to me and always bestowed unconditional love.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, Love never ends.
1 Corinthians

You are always in my heart, I love you, and hope I can be the kind of parent to my children that you were to me. -Rori

Dads are one of the best parts of being a child. They are our blanket for so many things- your love for your Dad is so sweet and you ARE a great Mom and your kids are so lucky to have a great mom like you.
